Comment 2 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2009-12-07 04:27:23 UTC
I've tried to fix this in the calibre-0.6.26 ebuild by exporting a fake temporary $CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY variable. Please test. The changes in the ebuild look like this:

Hopefully this is fixed with the calibre-0.6.26 ebuild. If not, please reopen.
Comment 4 keenblade 2009-12-07 23:42:08 UTC
Unfortunately the same problem exist with the calibre-0.6.26 ebuild.

Zac, thanks for your help. Full failed build log of calibre-0.6.26 attached.
Comment 6 Zac Medico gentoo-dev 2009-12-08 07:50:50 UTC
I've updated the ebuild to override XDG_CONFIG_HOME and that should fix most of the sandbox violations. The only sandbox violation that I was not able to reproduce was the one involving Trolltech.conf, so I'm not sure if that one is solved now. If it's still an issue, please search your environment file located at /var/tmp/portage/app-text/calibre-0.6.26/temp/environment for any variables that reference /home/keenblade and let me know what you find.
Comment 7 keenblade 2009-12-10 04:24:05 UTC
Zac, thank you very much. You have fixed all the sandbox violations.
