Please test and mark stable =x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-71.86.11 . A compile test should suffice if you do not have the hardware (as is likely on an amd64 system).
Please stabilize this ASAP.

has it been updated to work with the latest kernel (>=2.6.29) and xorg (>=1.5) ??? otherwise it's futile to unmask it but I can't update the system at all for this same reason... is there a way out???
