eix-0.18 changed the format string again, and puppet fails to detect installed packages. the following patch fixes the problem but does not work with <eix-0.18:

i suggest backporting it to 0.25.0 and add a blocker for eix-0.18 to puppet-0.24.*

i have rewritten the portage provider and it will be merged into 0.25.2. since 0.25.1 is out, i have backported the patch and added 0.25.1 to the tree. i've also added an eix-0.18 blocker to <0.25.1 so they don't get fucked up as soon as eix-0.18 goes stable.
