This specifically happens only for the ebuilds that call eautoreconf after using a sed line to remove the docbook2man rules from Makefile.in in the man subdirectory. Calling eautoreconf after called the sed line regenerates the Makefile.in file causing the build to fail. Therefore, only gnome-power-manager-2.24.4-r2 and later are affected since they call eautoreconf while earlier versions don't. In order to fix this, we can either patch Makefile.am in the man subdirectory with a patch similar to the one attached instead of running the sed line, or move the sed line after the eautoreconf call.
