When I download the binary from the Sun site it installs itself and works great without any stdlibc 3.3 installed on my machine. So why on earth the binary Gentoo VirtualBox 3.x package requires libstdc 3.3? I have removed the libstdc dependency from the emerge file, installed it, and everything works just fine. The same is with libmng dependency - it is useless as far as I can see. I removed it and VirtualBox works just fine.
Working fine too without libstdc. But i have it using a modified ebuild (deleted libstdc dependency) and works fine Please, remove it.
