sounds cool, but I'm not sure this needs to be behind a use flag given the small changes.
@herd, what do you say ?
Comment 4 Romain Perier (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-09-16 20:40:18 UTC
I agree with Gilles, a USE flag isn't very useful for a tiny change.
otherwises it's sounds cool yeah :)
Comment 5 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2009-09-28 15:50:14 UTC
USE=branding might be useful if someone wants a more vanilla gnome-screensaver for some reason. But I don't find it too important to have a USE flag for this, but USE=branding does sound very appropriate conceptually
Comment 6 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2009-09-28 15:51:01 UTC
What screensaver does gnome-screensaver come with selected by default? IF it's the floating GNOME logo, USE=branding could also change the default to the Gentoo one
Comment 7 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2009-09-28 18:48:59 UTC
I think that it default to simply "blank-only"
