Please stabilize dev-db/sqlite-3.6.17.
x86 stable
amd64/arm stable
Hi, for me this is leading to a problem. emerge -Duav --reinstall changed-use world These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild UD] dev-db/sqlite-3.6.16 [3.6.17] USE="threadsafe -debug -doc -soundex -tcl (-readline%*)" 0 kB Total: 1 package (1 downgrade), Size of downloads: 0 kB !!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled !!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict: dev-db/sqlite:3 ('ebuild', '/', 'dev-db/sqlite-3.6.16', 'merge') pulled in by <dev-db/sqlite-3.6.17 required by ('installed', '/', 'dev-libs/redland-1.0.8', 'nomerge') (and 8 more) redland-1.0.9-r1 is not stable and depending on libtool-2 what isn't stable, too. So I had to mask sqlite-3.6.17 manualy.
I have got a very similar problem: "emerge -uDNvp world" gives this output: These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild U ] dev-db/sqlite-3.6.17 [3.6.16] USE="readline%* threadsafe -debug -doc -soundex -tcl" 2,912 kB [ebuild U ] sys-devel/libtool-2.2.6a [1.5.26] USE="-test% -vanilla" 717 kB [ebuild U ] net-libs/gnutls-2.8.3 [2.6.6] USE="cxx nls zlib -bindist -doc -examples% -guile -lzo" 6,054 kB Total: 3 packages (3 upgrades), Size of downloads: 9,682 kB !!! Multiple package instances within a single package slot have been pulled !!! into the dependency graph, resulting in a slot conflict: dev-db/sqlite:3 ('ebuild', '/', 'dev-db/sqlite-3.6.17', 'merge') pulled in by >=dev-db/sqlite-3.2 required by ('installed', '/', 'media-libs/libsndfile-1.0.20', 'nomerge') >=dev-db/sqlite-3.5 required by ('installed', '/', 'dev-libs/nss-3.12.3-r1', 'nomerge') >=dev-db/sqlite-3.3.5 required by ('installed', '/', 'app-arch/rpm-4.4.6-r6', 'nomerge') (and 6 more) ('installed', '/', 'dev-db/sqlite-3.6.16', 'nomerge') pulled in by <dev-db/sqlite-3.6.17 required by ('installed', '/', 'dev-libs/redland-1.0.8', 'nomerge') (and 9 more)
Is masking this version the best solution? 'Cause that solved it fer me. :) x86 here.
Maybe for now. libtool-2 just went stable BUG=257399 and there is a stable request for redland BUG=285110 as well. So this should be solved soon - hopefully.
Stable for HPPA.
