I have klavier-3.8 installed, apparently gnome-control-center-2.26.0 requires >=klavier-4: checking for LIBXKLAVIER... configure: error: Package requirements (libxklavier >= 4) were not met: Requested 'libxklavier >= 4' but version of libxklavier is 3.8 Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBXKLAVIER_CFLAGS and LIBXKLAVIER_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. Reproducible: Always
Sorry, the package name appears to be libxklavier, not klavier.
Hum, I tried to make sure that it was indeed correct, but upstream's 2-26 branch is completely fscked up with tags from 2.27... It does look like 2.27 only deps on 3.9, but I don't know if other commits were used for that. Thanks
and emerge --info and config.log would be nice even though I'm pretty sure it's related to the patch I added two days ago, having these informations will help fixing the issue.
