Description Dominik Honnef 2009-07-18 02:15:31 UTC
When installing dev-ruby/ruby-gdkpixbuf2-0.19.0 it first successfully builds for ruby 1.8 and then throws errors (see attached log) for ruby 1.9

One solution would be to not build it for 1.9, even though it should be 1.9 compatible.

I know that the 0.19.0 ebuild is marked yet, but 0.16.0 also fails, with a different error.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge both ruby 1.8 and ruby 1.9
2. emerge dev-ruby/ruby-gdkpixbuf2-0.19.0

Actual Results:
make: *** [gdk_pixbuf2.so] Error 1

Expected Results:
A successful compile

Portage 2.1.6.13 (default/linux/x86/2008.0, gcc-4.1.2, glibc-2.9_p20081201-r2, 2.6.29-gentoo-r5 i686)

Looks like I left the USE_RUBY="ruby19" in there by accident. I have removed it now so that compilation won't fail when you have ruby 1.9 installed.
