I just tried to move cursor at console mc (on tty), it runs very s_l_o_w_l_y compared to another linux distro. (When I press it frequently, it runs much more fast) My kernel is vanilla-sources 2.4.21. May be, there is a workaround of this probleb and that is not bug, but I could not find any docs about "how-to-change a keyboard repeat rate". BIOS settings are OK. (I have no problems neither in Win2K nor MDK9.1) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
You can set the keyboard repeat rate in X with the xset command, eg xset r rate <delay> <rate> you can set it in the console with kbdrate, eg kbdrate -r <rate> -d <delay> not a bug, so setting as INVALID.
