Description Philippe Chaintreuil 2009-06-03 19:49:50 UTC
The Roundcube developer release 0.2.2 last month:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A little service release was just released. It contains some minor bug fixes and a newly added support for STARTTLS in IMAP connections. We recommended to update all installations of RoundCube Webmail to this version.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm going to bet (but have not verified), this is a simple "rename" version bump.

Please don't CC maintainers/herds yourself. Leave that to the bug-wranglers.

Just a note to say I have successfully upgraded from 0.2.1 to 0.2.2 by:

1. cp roundcube-0.2.1.ebuild roundcube-0.2.2.ebuild
2. ebuild roundcube-0.2.2.ebuild manifest
3. emerge -u roundcube-0.2.1

been using for a couple of weeks now with no problems

any problems with 0.2.2? if not, please submit it to tree (~x86). thank you.

ebuild for roundcube 0.2.2

No problems here. Is attaching the ebuild to this bug sufficient?

anyone out there with commit access? - please release it to the ~x86 tree!!
Comment 6 Robert R. Richter 2009-07-18 17:02:01 UTC
Okay - added the ebuild to my overlay. Works fine! just want to avoid using overlays, but if no one is willing to add this to ~x86, what should I do..?!

the webapps herd is quite under-staffed, and most staff members are quite busy with life, work and other gentoo stuff, and as far as i am concerned webapps does not have the highest priority with regard to version bump bugs. nevertheless 0.2.2 is in portage now.
