Description:   Opened: 2003-08-24 08:24 0000
When I try to emerge abiword-1.99.4-r2 it borks with a sandbox violation with
the following error:

# cat /tmp/sandbox-abiword-1.99.4-r2-6986.log
symlink: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/base.pm
symlink: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/base.pm
symlink: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/base.pm
#

If I do a

# export SANDBOX_DISABLED="1"

and try to emerge Abiword, it works fine. I played around a few hours with the
programm now and it seems to work fine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge abiword-1.99.3 or -1.99.4-r2

Reassigning to the gnome folks

------- Comment #2 From Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) 2003-08-25 22:34:28 0000 -------
i cant reproduce this on x86, using FEATURES="sandbox" and
FEATURES="usersandbox" it emerges fine. perhaps this is sparc related? or sparc
perl related?

------- Comment #3 From foser (RETIRED) 2003-08-27 09:28:34 0000 -------
it shouldnt try to use perl at all

i just added 1.99.5 and hardcoded the configure switch to disable perl, see if that helps.

Abiword 1.99.5 emerged fine for me :)

------- Comment #5 From foser (RETIRED) 2003-08-28 12:35:59 0000 -------
ok, guess that fixes it for now

For anyone who is interested, I was able to successfully emerge
abiword-1.99.4-r2 with sandbox enabled. However my useflags don't match that
of the reporters, so that may be partially why. If people are interested in
more info, let me know.
