The ebuild for 1.30.0 does not work for 1.30.2 if I just rename the .ebuild file. The reason is simple. Inside of boost-1.30.0.ebuild it plays tricks with the version number, substituting underscores for dots. This breaks downloading from SourceForge. I undid those and kept the dots, and everything installed fine (after I made a digest, of course). I've attached the changed ebuild for 1.30.2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 16422 [details] ebuild for boost 1.30.2 Installs fine AFAICT. Boost works the same as it did with 1.30.0 excepting that it has the bug fixes from 1.30.2.

Sorry for the multiple ebuild submissions. I keep getting bizzarro errors about an undefined Perl subroutine so I thought the attachment uploads failed.
Created attachment 16439 [details] bugfix boost-1.30.2.ebuild Nice work. New ebuild - PYTHON_VERSION fixed and -j6 replaced with MAKEOPTS (see 1.3.0 bugs), tested and working.
Hi B.K. and Chris. Thanks for an update. I have processed and committed the ebuild (BTW, S= definition is no longer necessary. The "standard" form is assigned if ommited). Please test. George
