Description Manfred Knick 2009-05-01 08:32:55 UTC
Any automatic emerge / upgrade lets sunbird be built first;
building thunderbird afterwards, the sunbird GPG extensions get lost again
and are missed in the Thunderbird Menu.
Thus, the user manually has to re-build sunbird _after_ thunderbird himself again.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Have Thunderbird be emerged first,
and Sunbird afterwards.

SORRY! (working too late last night)

I'm talking about *enigmail*, and not sunbird.

IFF    Thunderbird get's (re-) emergerd
AND    Enigmail is already installed,
THEN re-emerge Enigmail as a (post-) dependency.

Sure, it would be more elegant if this could be handled during re-install of Thunderbird itself, without having to re-merge Enigmail ...

Similar to bug #268060.

Meant bug #267363. Sorry
Comment 5 Nirbheek Chauhan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-02 00:04:04 UTC
The offending pkg_preinst has now been removed (w/o a bump). This should be
fixed now.
