Description Elliott Sales de Andrade 2009-04-20 05:32:47 UTC
The ./libtool script prints out lots of errors because it tries to run every parameter (prefixed with X) as a command (e.g. trying X-I../include as a command). The problem is that for parsing options, ./libtool uses $echo, but the only thing defined is $ECHO (not the case difference).

I tried compiling straight from the tarball with the same configure arguments as the ebuild and it worked fine. Then I tried running `libtoolize` before configure, and it failed. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about libtool to say why.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =media-sound/fluidsynth-1.0.9
2. Watch it fail.
Actual Results:
The build fails

Expected Results:
Completed compile.
