I attached a patch for app-text/ghostscript-gpl-8.64-r2 to fix cjk related issue. Remove adobe-cmaps and acro5-cmaps because ghostscript-gpl-8.64 contains cmaps files. Split cjk USE flag to LINGUAS (linguas_ja, linguas_ko, linguas_zh_CN and linguas_zh_TW). d Remove FAPIcidfmap. it is unused in latest version. How to test(ex. linguas_ja): $ wget http://www.sat.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~hideyuki/Ghostscript/article9.ps $ gs article9.ps

Fixed in ghostscript-gpl-8.70, hope you like it. We could also consider moving the cidfmaps to the corresponding font packages and install them into /etc/whatever in the long run.
