Description:   Opened: 2003-08-10 14:14 0000 
port001(aka ) has been very active in #gentoo-bugs for the past week, and has
made many 
other contributions well before that time. He is into graphics stuff (he made
the gnome splash 
image and icons), and general feature enhancements (he wrote the init and
conf.d script for 
teapop). I don't know if TaD has the time currently but he would probably be a
good mentor. If 
he doesn't have the time, I could do it (I've been keeping an eye on him for
awhile anyways).

I'm not sure we should recruit more 'stuff in general' devs until we have
actual positions where they're needed.

I have some other reservations which I am willing to discuss with seemant
privatly (Seemant, I'm available on OFTC).
