xorg-server 1.4.2, 1.5.2, 1.5.3, 1.5.3-r1, 1.5.3-r2, 1.5.3-r3, 1.5.3-r4 and 1.5.3-r5 all fail to compile with the following error message:

connection.c: In function 'AuthAudit':
connection.c:606: error: invalid initializer



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge xorg-server
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
The compilation failed

Expected Results:  
Building should end without errors

Ahha! Found it! I found this bit in the configure area :

[...]
checking for dtrace... /usr/local/bin/dtrace
[...]

Get rid of it and it should be fine.

dev-util/systemtap actually provides a dtrace binary

Could you please add --with-dtrace=no, so that it doesn't check for it.

Fixed in portage for >=1.4.2 and all ebuilds in the x11 overlay.
