A dependency "doc? ( >=x11-libs/qt-assistant-4.0 )" is missing but as the 0.7.4 release archive is missing the file <doc/Doxygen.in>, doc generation is broken anyway. I therefore suggest to to update to uriparser 0.7.5 which I released earlier today. As it comes with new dependencies, I felt like helping out with an updated ebuild myself, see attachment. Created attachment 183958 [details, diff] Fix and bump ebuild to 0.7.5 I realiazed a bit late that the pkg-config dependency as is is actually not dependening on the test use flag or --enable-test. it was planned that way, though. So here's the second shot.
Alright, let's convert this bug into a bump request. It helps quite a bit that you already attached an ebuild patch so chances are good that you get them into the tree. rbu please consider to apply these enhancements to the other versions in the tree as well if possible/sensible. Reassigning to maintainer.
If existing ebuilds need a fix this cannot be just an enhancement in my eyes. I hope you don't mind that I turn it back to "normal".
