Description Michael O'Brien 2009-02-20 10:46:22 UTC
This is my first bug report so I hope this isn't too bad.

updated-0.3.16-r1 removed previous init script and put in place updated.init which looks like a diff

Steps steps replicate:
emerge -u updated

Reproducible: always

What other information do you need from me?

It's probably app-misc/uptimed ?

Oops...sorry about that, i fixed it in -r2. So if you have -r2 in your tree you have the initd script fixed :)

Thanks for the fix. One other note is that in r2 the new init script is named uptimed.init instead of just uptimed. Shall I open a new bug for this?

Reopening as we need "/etc/init.d/uptimed" and not "/etc/init.d/uptimed.init"

Raúl, how about changing the line
  doinitd "${FILESDIR}"/uptimed.init
into
  newinitd "${FILESDIR}"/uptimed.init uptimed
?

Cheers
Lars
