When emergeing the version 1.31 ebuild of Bacula, the source file can not be donwloaded, not found error. This is due to a change in filename of the source code on the sourceforge site: new filename is bacula-1.31a.tar.gz instead of bacula-1.31-04Jun03.tar.gz Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Ebuild can be changed in the following way (the NEWP parameter): # Copyright 1999-2003 Gentoo Technologies, Inc. # Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2 # $Header: /home/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/app-admin/bacula/bacula-1.31.ebuild,v 1.1 2003/06/12 03:54:00 woodchip $ DESCRIPTION="Bacula is a featureful client/server network backup suite" HOMEPAGE="http://www.bacula.org/" #NEWP=${P}-04Jun03 NEWP=${P}a
That is because it isn't a snapshot anymore. When bacula's files are released with dates on their file names, is because they are prerelease snapshots. Package mantainer, please not for the next bacula releases. Important note: the "a" in the name meen that is is _another_ release. It has been made due to an important bug on bacula 1.31. Please read bacula's mailing lists for more info.
sorry i've not been caught up on Bacula development lately. if you have an updated .ebuild there, please show me a inline, unified patch generated with diff -u here, and i'll try to merge your changes as soon as possible.
I cannot maintain this anymore, sorry.
Fixed in cvs. Thanks for the bug report.
