Description Radoslaw Zuber 2009-02-09 16:43:49 UTC
I was trying to upgrade my gcc from version 4.1.1 to 4.3.3.

Therefore I called:
emerge -uv gcc
and everything went well until emerge was trying to upgrade sys-apps/texinfo from version 4.8-r5 to 4.13. It seems like there is no configure script with this ebuild.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.(while upgrading gcc)
2.emerge -uv sys-apps/texinfo
3.

Actual Results:
# emerge -uv sys-apps/texinfo

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

You have very old sys-apps/portage which doesn't support .tar.lzma files.
You should update sys-apps/portage.

Ok, that did the trick. Thanks!
