I'm pretty sure this version of avr-libc adds support for new avr models. I own one of them and would like to use it. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to emerge avr-libc 1.6.4

Actual Results:  
only have version 1.6.2 in portage.

I second that request. Upstream bug 22828 (see link below) cost me about three hours of try-and-error debugging work on Friday, supposed to be fixed in 1.6.3 already.
