Reproducible: Always

ipodexportdialog.cpp: In member function 'void IpodExport::UploadDialog::ipodItemSelected(QListViewItem*)':
ipodexportdialog.cpp:374: error: 'ITDB_THUMB_PHOTO_SMALL' was not declared in this scope
ipodexportdialog.cpp:374: error: 'itdb_artwork_get_thumb_by_type' was not declared in this scope

Fixed in -r2. Calling for stabilization, soon. Thanks for your bug report.

Perhaps libgpod shuld slotted so there isn't conflict between 0.6 an 0.7 version which have different ABI

Comment 7 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-13 12:12:04 UTC
No. What's required is a coordinated stabilization process for all affected packages, when the newer version is intended to go stable. ABI changes are not a reason for slotting, unless we have different actively developed library branches, intended to live side by side for a long time. This isn't the case here. Slotting isn't trivial and should be avoided as it implies (sometimes massively) raised maintenance costs.
Comment 8 Dell'Aica Valentino 2009-02-15 13:12:17 UTC
By the way there's the same problem on amarok 1.14.10 ebuild the should add libgpod =0.6* as dependence

When you have a new issue, please open another bug, instead dropping comments on fixed bugs. This one isn't really an issue, as libgpod 0.7 isn't stable and amarok-1.4.10_p20090130, which should be fine with it, will be, beforehand.
