Description:   Opened: 2009-01-07 10:03 0000 
After upgrading kernel from 2.6.25-gentoo-r8 to 2.6.27-gentoo-r7 my stir4200
based adapter does not work with ircomm-tty layer (discovery works but no
actual data can be sent/received).  Same results with ks959-sir adapter and
Ubuntu Intrepid stock kernel (also 2.6.27-something).

I've applied recommended patch
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/davem/net-2.6.git;a=commit;h=69c30e1e7492192f882a3fc11888b320fde5206a
and it solved this issue for me.

Probably this fix should be included in gentoo-sources.
