It exists a pre4 version, but the author stated in a readme that it is full of
bugs.

Just want to add, that the numbered pre ebuild intereferes with the "datecoded"
ones. I tried to use roman numbers (preIII), but portage doesn't like that.

yeah, i add the 'pre3' bit in the ebuild ...

check out the MY_PV var ...
