Description Anton Bolshakov 2008-12-30 09:52:37 UTC
I've just upgraded my guest vserver and having multiple errors during stop/start process. It's mostly "permission denied" messages. See attachment for details

Exactly the same problem here.
Can we please have v0.3.0 back ? It was running *very* smoothly inside vservers...

fixed in cvs, please remerge/upgrade to at least openrc-0.4.1-r1 and udev-133
Comment 5 Matthias Schwarzott gentoo-dev 2009-01-01 18:38:19 UTC
Seems you fixed it only for udev-133,135 and 135-r1.
135-r2 and newer use another file (files/udev-135-r2.initd), so are not fixed.

.. and there is one more error left with sys-fs/udev-135-r1:
Mounting /dev/shm...
mount: permission denied

IMHO, the udev init script would also require a "keyword novserver" in order to fix it completely.

fixed now. i also forgot to fix the devfs init script before, but it is already fixed upstream, so i'm waiting for a new release of openrc since these are just cosmetic bugs anyway
