This ebuild works for me! (x86_64)

I'll push this one today, hopefully.

OK here too. Only real problem I had was with:
/usr/lib64/opengl/ati/extensions/libglx.so
I had to mv this to another name. ati-drivers claimed it was
going to overwrite it and that it came from xorg 1.5.2
I was in a 'eselect opengl set xorg-x11' state.

What should I really have done? Do I need to check anything now?
TIA

I had to do this as well, after which everything is working well.

Reemerging ati-drivers helped. Now xorg-server-1.5.3 works with fglrx dri. Thank you all.

This comment somehow got into the wrong editing window... ;-)

I see 8.561 has hit Portage in ~amd64. However, the patch "files/8.552/ati-drivers-xen-8.552.patch" is nowhere to be found in the Portage tree, even though it is referred to in the ebuild, causing the build to fail.

Please sync again, the patch apparently now should be in the cvs as well.
