exiv2 is in pre-release, with some useful new features, and significant ABI/API changes. An ebuild in ~ is useful for testing / development purposes.

Slightly convoluted ebuild for the pre-release tarball.
Note that installing this is breaks libkexiv2 substantially because it hides a lot of API that is used by the current (0.1.7) release of libkexiv2. Necessary changes to libkexiv2 are in upstream, but not yet released.

previously attached ebuild works correctly when re-named to exiv2-0.18.ebuild as well (no suffixes to version string), but probably 0.17.1 could be re-named as well.
Built exiv2 program works as advertised, and libkexiv2-0.18 builds against the resulting libraries.
