Current dependency pulls all of the splitted packages.
please provide a patch, just stating the obvious doesn't lead us anywhere.
Created attachment 179642 [details, diff] Patch for ebuild This patch updates the dependencies to depend on either the split ebuilds or the monolithic ebuild - note that I also added the dependency on (parts of) gnome-python, as it was used in the code, although not previously mentioned as a dep.
An OR isn't necessary anymore. Depending on just the splits is fine, stabling of the split versions is quite imminent, as soon as someone from the GNOME team files the appropriate stabilization bugs (if they aren't yet).
I've fixed this for 2.24.3. Thanks for doing the legwork.
