when using libg15 with a new Logitech G15 keyboard (modelname: y-uw92) does strange things: * firefox changes pages * moving the cursor in konsole stops * lcd screen changes very fast Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compile "<dev-libs/libg15-1.2.7", g15daemon and other dependencies on amd64 gentoo 2. /etc/init.d/g15daemon start 3. use computer and especially firefox / konsole Actual Results: * firefox changes pages * moving the cursor in konsole stops * lcd screen changes very fast Expected Results: none of the above appears according to http://www.g15tools.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=109 this bug might be fixed by libg15-1.2.7 I seem to have fixed it by doing: # cp libg15-1.2.6.ebuild libg15-1.2.7.ebuild # ebuild libg15-1.2.7.ebuild digest # flagedit dev-libs/libg15 -- +~amd64 # emerge =libg15-1.2.7 && emerge g15daemon g15composer libg15render # /etc/init.d/g15daemon restart
I think you mean 1.2.6 .Thats known since a month and since 25.11.2008 there is an update (like you write) that solves exactly that problem. Could someone PLEASE update the ebuild? I am waiting since 25.11 for that and hoping after every emerge --sync to see the new version.
