I've dropped the ppc keywords for the compiz-fusion ebuilds while working on the overlay. Please test and add keywords for the compiz-fusion packages: dev-python/compizconfig-python-0.7.8 x11-apps/simple-ccsm-0.7.8 x11-libs/compiz-bcop-0.7.8 x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-gconf-0.7.8 x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.7.8 x11-libs/libcompizconfig-0.7.8 x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-main-0.7.8 x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-extra-0.7.8 x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported-0.7.8 x11-wm/compiz-0.7.8 x11-wm/emerald-0.7.8 Thanks
I just added 0.8.2 to the tree. Please keyword it at your convenience.
As the compiz-fusion-plugins-* have been renamed to compiz-plugins-*, I'm updating the list of ebuilds: dev-python/compizconfig-python-0.8.2 x11-apps/simple-ccsm-0.8.2 x11-libs/compiz-bcop-0.8.2 x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-gconf-0.8.2 x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.8.2 x11-libs/libcompizconfig-0.8.2 x11-plugins/compiz-plugins-main-0.8.2 x11-plugins/compiz-plugins-extra-0.8.2 x11-plugins/compiz-plugins-unsupported-0.8.2 x11-wm/compiz-0.8.2 x11-wm/emerald-0.8.2
~ppc and ~ppc64 now. A couple of notes: On x11-wm/compiz-0.8.2, I was seeing some failure with tests enabled like so: srcdir=. /usr/bin/intltool-update -m mismatched quotes at line 4187 in ../gtk/window-decorator/gtk-window-decorator.c [1mThe following files contain translations and are currently not in use. Please[0m [1mconsider adding these to the POTFILES.in file, located in the po/ directory.[0m gtk/gnome/compiz-wm.desktop.in metadata/core.xml.in If some of these files are left out on purpose then please add them to POTFILES.skip instead of POTFILES.in. A file [1m'missing'[0m containing this list of left out files has been written in the current directory. if [ -r missing -o -r notexist ]; then \ exit 1; \ fi make[1]: *** [check] Error 1 The second observation was that x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.8.2 does not seem to like kdelibs-4 nor kdelibs-4 and kdelibs-3 installed slotted. I was getting compilation failures until I cleaned kdelibs-4. Something to look at it if you get a chance.

Basically, I'm going to add those files to po/POTFILES.skip. > The second observation was that x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.8.2 > does not seem to like kdelibs-4 nor kdelibs-4 and kdelibs-3 installed slotted. > I was getting compilation failures until I cleaned kdelibs-4. Something to > look at it if you get a chance. I know about the kconfig issues. I haven't fixed this yet, as the correct solution is on the updated kde eclasses that we're trying in the kde-crazy overlay. We hope to add the eclasses to the tree soon. Thanks for the tests and adding the keywords.
The fix for the failing tests was added to compiz-0.8.2-r1. I'm closing this bug as we got the keywords for ppc/ppc64. The issue about -kdeprefix can be followed on bug 248293.
