Description:   Opened: 2008-11-13 16:13 0000
x11-plugins/enigmail doesn't check if app-crypt/pinentry was build with
USE="gtk" (since there is no USE="qt4" and i don't want to pull qt3 - maybe it
should check for either qt3 or gtk). if you try to encrypt mails within
thunderbird, it does not ask your password. instead you get an error message
saying either 'ipc read error' or 'wrong passphrase'.

Reproducible: Always

Please post your `emerge --info' too and tell us which version of
x11-plugins/enigmail you have.

------- Comment #2 From Julian Golderer 2008-11-14 11:14:32 0000 -------
x11-plugins/enigmail-0.95.7-r1

now the summary seems unclear to me. enigmail doesn't have a GTK use flag, but
pinentry needs USE="gtk" or "qt3".

------- Comment #3 From Raúl Porcel 2008-11-25 15:04:57 0000 -------
Fixed.

Arches, please stabilize =x11-plugins/enigmail-0.95.7-r2
It uses thunderbird's 2.0.0.18 tarball and also fixes this.

Thanks
