I have gedit installed with -python and devhelp installs a gedit plugin which is written Python. Gedit is priting the following while starting. WARNING **: Cannot load Python plugin '/usr/lib64/gedit-2/plugins/devhelp.gedit-plugin' since gedit was not compiled with Python support. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. that a console thing right ? If you still see the plugin in the UI, that might be a problem, otherwise, wontfix.
Yes console only. But at least devhelp can warn that gedit should be +python to have a functional plugin.
