Although we'd need to take care of bug #220603 this isn't like it's a recent regression and gdm-2.20.9 contains a bunch of bug fixes. So please go ahead with stabilization of gdm-2.20.9.

Target keywords are:
alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sh sparc x86

Thanks in advance.
Comment 2 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 09:05:38 UTC
uh right, remi notified me that I meant 2.20.9-r1, sorry for confusion.

I think this needs an additional dep on app-text/docbook-xml-dtd-4.1.2:

Installing said dtd fixes building with FEATURES=test.
Comment 4 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 12:45:46 UTC
uh yeah, we really need to make a pass on all gnome-doc-utils dependant packages because this is a recurrent problem since latest gdu depends on the 4.4 version of the dtd while it used to depend on 4.1.2 and most packages in tree still rely on that.
Comment 5 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 12:47:40 UTC
Want us to stabilize it anyway or wait for a new -r?
Comment 6 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 13:44:05 UTC
please go ahead, it's not really a regression at that point too :) It's been at least a year since gdu changed to its current deps.
Comment 7 Tobias Klausmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-23 13:58:42 UTC
Stable on alpha, then :)
Comment 8 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-24 14:57:20 UTC
ppc64 done
Comment 9 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-02-25 21:17:17 UTC
amd64/x86 stable
Comment 10 Joe Jezak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-02-27 20:16:08 UTC
Marked ppc stable.
Comment 11 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-06 18:27:07 UTC
ia64/sparc stable, can't do arm/sh as it requires some deps.
Comment 12 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-21 02:31:00 UTC
Stable for HPPA.
Comment 13 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-04-28 17:59:40 UTC
arm/sh stable, closing
