This presumably should work with a newer ffmpeg, so marking it to block 218091.
There's talk of marking a 2008 version of ffmpeg stable, so this version is a
must-have.

It uses but still doesn't work *yet* as expected. It succesfully links against
it but produces white frames when dynamicly linked against ffmpeg. I've been
and am in contact with upstream, Luca and Alexis and trying to fix the issue.
In the mean time, feel free to experiment with 3.9.6 at
http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/java/java-experimental/media-video/jubler/
and come up with a patch that fixes the issue.
