http://tokyocabinet.sourceforge.net/ This is the successor software of QDBM. Additionally, there is a remote access lib and an optimized text search lib which works with the dbm lib.
Added to my developer overlay for now. Would need some polish for main tree. https://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/dev/betelgeuse/dev-db/tokyocabinet
May I ask also for tokyotyrant... the remote access library for tokyocabinet.

Comment on attachment 199386 [details] dev-db/tokyocabinet-1.4.30.ebuild (a better ebuild for tokyocabinet) Admittedly this is the first ebuild I've really tried to write, but its been working for me for a while now, so I thought I'd share with the community.
Created attachment 206473 [details] tokyocabinet-1.4.34.ebuild Here's a new take on the ebuild. Fixed those pesky rpath issues as well. This thing should probably land in dev-db/tokyocabinet.
Created attachment 206474 [details, diff] fix_rpath.patch Patch for tokyocabinet-1.4.34 for rpath issues as well as removing -O2 for default build (we use fastest, so it really doesn't matter other than for correctness sake)
