When I try to emerge Unreal tournament Game of the Year the install fails
during
unpacking/copying of the second CD. The ebuild for unreal tournament (original)
works fine but it doesn't install the extra mods of the GOTY edition.

No, it's not the map that fails, it's the patches. They are already applied.
The patch section should be removed.

You should consider making the goty ebuild install only things from the second cd and have normal ut install from the first cd.

err you're right, what i meant originally to ask for was md5sums/sizes on these
files:

fixed with UT GOTY v451 :) 

Tested and confirmed..thanks! Seems the new-XFree-refresh bug has been fixed
somewhere too..nice to look at 85Hz instead of 60. The SDL-ALSA 9.2 bug is
still around so I guess I'll have try a different version of ALSA.
