trying to emerge opera pulls down a i386.tar.gz file. not sure if they offer a
ppc version or not.

This was actually fixed a long while ago, there is no opera offered for ppc
linux right now that works with Gentoo :/  The only ppc linux one they offer is
5.0, and it's linked against some very old libs, etc.

Opera doesn't pull the i386 binary anymore as it's masked (unless the user calls
the build directly that is, which we cant avoid really).

I'm marking this closed again.
