Emacs 23 is (slowly) approaching its release and is in feature freeze already. We would like to have some pretesting in app-editors/emacs-cvs, in order to avoid similar issues as we had for Emacs 22 in bug 238210.

~arm/~s390 done ~sh pending as i need to find why it segfaults when compiling.
I forgot to mention that virtual/emacs-23 needs the keyword, too. Done for ~arm and ~s390.
