kdesvn changelog:
Release 1.0.2 is in the public. 
 It fixes an annoying problem with merge paramters which let subversion not
track merges (when kdesvn is build against svn 1.5) or not handle simple merges
with one source the right (eg. simple) way.


A simple rename of kdesvn-1.0.1 works, but i made a few improvements. I made
the LANGS so as to get installed the sellected translations.
Also, I wanted to propose a slotting of the package. The reason is the
kde4-port of kdesvn which is almost finished (as stated to the package's url),
and also the live ebuild which resides to kdesvn-portage overlay. We have seen
many crazy behaviours between packages and just for a better "communication"
between kde versions.

It seems there's a kde 4 version available (1.2.1) in

Sorry about the delay - I was pretty busy here at university last month.
I was about to commit the bump to 1.0.4, but then recalled about SLOTting, so
I'd rather test this SLOTted version, especially in view of upcoming kde-4
version.. 

Ack on 1.2.1 version, I'll try to work on that next.
Anybody tried to produce an ebuild for that? Is inheriting qt4 and
kde4-functions sufficient or do I need to inherit kde4-base and set
NEED_KDE=4.1 and EAPI="2" (then, I guess, I can drop the qt4 eclass)?

It is not quite what Theo posted though - to properly SLOT the package it is
not sufficient to simply change SLOT value, one must also insure that stuff
gets installed in specific locations to avoid collisions with versions from
different SLOTs..

Theo: sorry, apparently I was looking at the other (non-slotted) version of
yours, the SLOTted one looks Ok. Its still a bit hectic here. I also need to
add the LINGUAS support though, please stand by for the updated version..

i thought of a few more improvements to the ebuild that hope to make today. I
can't help with 1.2.1 ebuild at the time as i have some hardware problems with
my kde-4.1.2 machine, but you could take some ideas from the live ebuild i
created in kdesvn-portage overlay, although i have made some changes there that
haven't pushed yet. If you could wait another two days i'll give you my version
of 1.2.1 ebuild

Ok, the updated version is in the tree, now with the LINGUAS support.

Certainly no problem here :).
BTW, please attach a diff against the version in the tree when you will add it,
not a full ebuild, unless the new version is totally reworked (which I doubt is
needed).

Just a note:
now that there is a bug dedicated to 1.2 version, lets keep the further
discussion there (as other aspects have been resolved).
I'll mark this one as a dupe.
