Description niogic 2008-09-09 13:48:49 UTC
In bug #161536 there was a "workaround" inserting a x86 useflag to install libstdc++-v3.

I've made a local overlay without that dependency and java just works fine.
revdep-rebuild didn't find any broken library.

The version I use is 1.6.0.07

Yeah it seems they finally fixed it again so that it's statically linked.

Just wanted to point out that revdep-rebuild doesn't scan java installations nowadays so it wouldn't find anything anyway, you had just pure luck coincidence :)
