Created attachment 165006 [details, diff] Invalid patch for configure.ac and configure script Changelog says --without-lua was fixed in this version, but it isn't. Line 504 in configure.ac says 'case "$with-liblua" in', but should be 'case "$liblua" in'. This patch fixes that and the resulting configure script .. no idea why it has become so huge, though :-)
-# Generated by GNU Autoconf 2.61. +# Generated by GNU Autoconf 2.62. I think this explains why the patch is 280KB. Could you try using the same version of autoconf? Also, isn't configure a generated file? So shouldn't the configure.in be changed instead?
Comment on attachment 165006 [details, diff] Invalid patch for configure.ac and configure script Sorry, that patch doesn't make any sense.
Created attachment 165013 [details, diff] Add CXXFLAGS to makefile.dep rule There you go, no idea where my head was before. The -DNOLUA flag is set in CXXFLAGS, not in CPPFLAGS.
Created attachment 165022 [details] ebuild that applies cxxflags-patch
The patch appears to work. thanks! When will this be in portage?
Done. If anyone from the netmon herd has a prob. Come talk to me.
