We have a bug[1] from a user complaining about prelink checking kernel source directories unnecessarily since nothing is compiled. Small patch attached to blacklist /usr/src in prelink.conf to prevent this. [1] http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233266
Created an attachment (id=163953) [edit] add kernel source directory (/usr/src) to prelink.conf blacklist
just update the existing prelink-20061201-prelink-conf.patch and that should be fine for you to commit
files/prelink-20061201-prelink-conf.patch lists "-b /usr/src"
