Ebuild attached, note the comment on gtk2, I'll try to have that fixed upstream
in the next couple of days.

It's fixed upstream, use the updated ebuild.  If gtk+-2.0 is found, it will be
used, otherwise we just build the commandline interface.

is in the ebuild you attached, but there doesn't seem to be a patch attached to this bug, which can be used there.
