Banshee 1.2.1 as been out a week ago. Please bump it.

Couldn't you just Assign the bug properly instead of CC'ing the maintainer? (I
merely ask for information - I don't know what privileges you have while filing
a bug report...)

No i don't assign properly because i don't have previleges to do so.
Assign to the herd helps bug wranglers work.

renaming the ebuild works for me. compile works, new features all seem to be
present. looks sane to me.

Banshee-1.2 seem to require at least dev-lang/mono-1.2.6 (as does
dev-dotnet/mono-addins for a different reasons, see bug 236169).

With the current stable Mono (1.2.5-r1), compiling gives this error:
