Description:   Opened: 2008-08-14 19:39 0000 
The use of undefined constants causes errors for anyone with a higher level of
warnings on their PHP setup.

2.11.8.1 was released to address this issue. Can we add it to the tree and fast
track it to stable since 2.11.8 is stable?
