Preparation: vapier needs to send the post 4+ hours before the meeting. (Mike, is this ever going to happen?) Goal: Suggest changes. This should happen on-list. No discussion expected.

Mark is taking responsibility for following through on this bug. He's going to get more input on it and create a new proposal.

I will work on getting a written proposal put together by November 3rd. I'll send it out to g-dev@ to get feedback at that point, and we can take it from there as to when I can present it for a vote.
Give me another day or two, I had some things come up this weekend and I didn't get a chance to work on it like I wanted to.

This proposal has lost its champion. On a personal note, I believe that the situation has improved since this bug was filed, and that the status quo is acceptable.
