One program that I know of (nuvexport) queries ffmpeg to know what switches to use with it. However, ffmpeg -version returns "FFmpeg version UNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2008..." is there a way in which that could be changed to reflect the actual version/subversion, so that the query would work?
