if i try to emerge app-office/gnumeric-1.8.3 i get the following error message:

if then i emerge x11-libs/cairo with the 'svg' use flag and then re-emerge gnumeric, everything goes ok. so i think a check in gnumeric ebuild should be added to see if cairo has been emerged with all the needed use flags.
